Fuel is the spot for a grab n' go breakfast in SMV. Coffee is great, especially the espresso drinks. All of the breakfast sandwiches and burritos are great but my fave is the Cali burrito (add bacon for the carnivores). If you catch it at the wrong time, you will have to wait due to the sheer volume of people jostling for their brekkie and java fixes.

This is a small coffee shop that has a variety of breakfast and lunch choices. Compared to the prices found in the rest of Snowmass they are very reasonable. So far we have eaten breakfast multiple times here and I've thought everything was tasty. The bagel with salmon and cream cheese was fresh and well prepared. The southwestern burrito was stuffed with scrambled eggs, potatoes, onions and salsa. For the price, fast service and food quality I'm not sure this place can be beat for breakfast.

When you have Fuel at your disposal, why go anywhere else in town for breakfast or lunch? Their breakfast burritos are the stuff of legend, but I prefer other things on their menu. Paninis, bagel sandwichs, smoothies, and of course the best coffee in town are all available, and for great prices, too! Whether you're heading out skiing or out for a hike, take some Fuel with you and you'll be set for the day.

great and affordable breakfast place. Coffee was outstanding, as was the b-fast burrito and the fruit smoothie. Did I mention this place is very affordable? Which is a rare thing in a resort like Aspen/Snowmass.

Crap crap crappuccino. A large PAPER cup of foam, bland, burnt espresso sitting all alone at the bottom and a $4.75 price tag. This may be the only time I choose Starbucks. And NO WIFI. Shameful

This is not a "breakfast place." In other words, if you are looking for somewhere you can sit down, chat with friends, order pancakes with homefries and bacon, and maybe coffee and a mimosa, this ain't it. What this place is: somewhere to grab a quick bagel and coffee before heading to the slopes for a day of shredding. It's more like a coffee shop with breakfast items than a breakfast place. The bagel was surprisingly good (i.e., coming from a NYC'er). I also ordered a side of bacon because I need the protein - both days they were given to me at room temperature as if they were made hours earlier and just sitting there to be stuffed in a sandwich. The first day, the bacon was fine; the second day, it was burned and awful. So - it's hit or miss. The coffee ordering process is confusing. Don't just ask for a cup of coffee, because you have to decide between dark roast or light roast. Ask them to explain the difference, and you'll get an inaccurate dissertation explaining the difference.

What a nice surprise! We were staying in the village for the Tough Mudder with our fam and only had some nasty coffee at the resort. So we found this place and were glad we did! We arrived a few minutes before opening but the let us in early and made us feel welcome. Coffee was great and had a gluten free breakfast wrap - excellent! Quick and friendly service!

We wanted an inexpensive, good, easy breakfast. That's what we got at Fuel! We'll be back!

Located in the Snowmass Mall area, with easy accessibility via the Gondola, car ( free parking) or walk depending on where you are staying. I had lunch here a few times over the past week. Reasonably priced for freshly made panini's, torta's, wraps and taco's ( esp for Snowmass and Aspen comparative restaurant prices). They are open for b'fast and lunch from 7 am.-3.30 pm only. Can continue to get b'fast items for lunch if still available. I wanted a specialty bagel for lunch and they had run out of bagels, so they offered to switch it with ciabatta. The lunch costs about $10 +tax and includes an apple or a chips packet ( just remember to get it as sometimes they may forget) and the breakfast items about $6+ tax. The place tends to gets crowded fast, but the lines move reasonably fast. Drinks appeared to arrive more promptly with lunch taking a little longer!

Really like this place. Good coffee. Great service. Good sandwiches. Great prices! Very close to the Westin. The owner was very friendly. Coffee is cheaper than Starbucks. They have a nice area to eat outside

Very, very good espresso drinks! Some of the best I've had in the area. I had the Santa Fe bagel sandwich with bacon, except they forgot the bacon... I realized after I had walked a few minutes away. When I brought it back, they just stuffed some bacon into the now-cold sandwich, which was kind of a bummer to miss out on that yummy toasted bagel. Oh well. The tomato in the sandwich was mealy and I'm not sure what was in Santa Fe cream cheese(black beans? maybe?), but overall it was pretty decent. $13.50 decent? Not sure on that.

Good coffee with yummy breakfast options. Have come here many times in the afternoon and morning and been very happy with the friendliness of the staff and the atmosphere of the place. My personal favorite is the iced coffee, California burrito and the everything bagel Santa Fe style is pretty good as well.

Great Sandwiches and Burritos. I had a yummy strawberry banana smoothie and a Mexican torta

*** Note:Prepare to sit outside, this place is very small. Now even though they are small, they make a mean Mexican Mocha. After we left, I stretched that drink all day long, it was good... I mean really good. The view is lovely if you can wrangle up a seat. I love how Snowmass and Aspen have a wide spread of picture windows at restaurants and coffeehouses.

To get to Fuel I have to leave a warm lodge, trudge up a steepish hill, stand in a queue for 10 minutes ...and yet I keep coming back. Why? I guess it's the funky ski town vibe, great sandwiches, wraps and smoothies and the more than passable espresso. The guy at the register is extremely friendly and remembered me after two visits, take that Starbucks!

Solid sammiches/panini's for a decent price. Good breakfast sammiches as well. Grabbed these for an early dinner when we arrived at the resort and didn't want a huge meal. Satisfies us until morning.

The classic locals coffee shop. Good good, quality beverages and coffee, and fair prices for a ski town. No wi-fi but that keeps people from camping out in the small space inside. Great shaded outdoor seating and close parking right across the street.

During a stay in Snowmass Village, we decided to change up the scenery and buy breakfast rather than make it. Fuel was just a few steps down from where we were staying, and has a super convenient location in the Snowmass Village Mall. There is very little seating inside, which I could see as being inconvenient during the winter months, but during the warm summer temperatures, the outside seating is abundant and provides a beautiful view of the mountains. Their variety of breakfast and lunch foods are both convenient and diverse - anyone can find something that they will like. The coffee was good, and everyone greatly enjoyed the food. The cashier (who may have been the owner...?) was super friendly and helpful with ordering. Next time I am in Snowmass, I will gladly be back!

Border Turkey Wrap all the way! Razzle dazzle and bananarama smoothies are my favorites. This is the best place in SMV for coffee and breakfast, and a wrap at lunch. Great lattes too!

  • Cecile S.

The paninis are so good! My favorite was the wild mushroom with prociutto, the beef Fontana, and the spicy beef. I'm sure all of them are good. The first time we came the guy who took our order didn't tell us we get free chips so just make sure to ask. The space inside is also pretty crammed so you might want to sit outside. The hot chocolate was also delicious. Prices are very reasonable.

Good espresso and an interesting selection of drinks and sandwiches. Green tea latte is yummy an a nice change from a regular latte.

  • Cass K.

A lot of great espresso coffee options here with milk options that include soy, rice and almond. This place is always busy, and the quality of ingredients are better than the other coffee shops that we've passed by. The lattes are solid. The Spanish mocha is overly sweet. Fuel also has a great selection of smoothies.

  • Elysia M.

A favorite, affordable place to grab a coffee, a smoothie, or some tacos before or after a day on the mountain. Their chicken tacos are gluten free and their smoothies are generous and go for grabbing before taking the bus back to Aspen. Highly recommend!

Cool and chill. Go here and support local shops. I guess we'll see what happens now that Starbucks has opened it's doors. Tasty!

Excellent (and quite large) breakfast burrito. Great coffee. Friendly guy at the counter. No knock to Starbucks, but give Fuel a try. You won't be disappointed.

Best breakfast burrito around. I also got a smoothie with berries and a ginseng boost. Their smoothies are pretty much on par with other places you would get one. Their food is very good and they are environmentally conscious, if you care about that stuff. They use recycled products for all the containers I received. Their food is pretty reasonable for the Snowmass area, so I can't complain about prices.

Fuel was super convienent to our family during a recent vacation to Snowmass. It was located right up the hill from our lodge and offered a variety of items for breakfast and lunch. One cool thing about Colorado is that almost every coffeehouse offeres a variety of milk alternatives. Every drink was accessible to this vegan which was nice. Cons.....super super super busy. Long lines but after listening to some locals talking, you can phone in your order. Do that. It is the only quick place open before the lifts start moving. Mexican Mocha- Super spicy! A little too spicy but it was really a tasty combo of chocolate, coffee, and cayenne. Latte with Almond Milk- pretty good albiet it was $5. Sweet Potato Wrap- AMAZING. This was my New Year's Eve dinner and it was fantastic. The sweet potato is a great ingredient and it was super tasty and vegan. I get it regardless of whether or not I ate meat. It was yummy!

I came here every morning while on vacation! Great coffee and unique and delicious food! My favorite was the veggie chili, but the had many unique options including breakfast burritos and paninis! Coffee was great every time and staff was hardworking and friendly!

My husband and I came here as much as we could for breakfast during our stay in snowmass. He's a coffee drinker and loved their coffee. I had the #4 bagel every time and it was so delicious!! This was our last stop on our way out to the airport, I had to have it one last time. Quaint little place and the staff is nice.

Best breakfast with mexican style burritos, try the California burrito. Cheap prices with patio tables located in the Snowmass Village Mall. They also make sandwiches and tortas and they are closed after 330pm. eatsnowmass.com/breakfas…

If I could give this zero stars, I would. The place had so much promise--I'm a sucker for cute coffee shops--but Fuel blew me away...in a negative way. My companion got a coffee w/ some steamed soy in it--first of all, it was way overpriced--I live in Vail, so I'm used to a little bit of a prince bump--but $4.00 for a medium coffee is a bit absurd. More importantly, it could have been a cup of water--that was how little flavor it had. It wasn't the soy milk--they use Silk, which is generally nicely creamy--it was just that the coffee was beyond bland. When we went back to see what they could do, the barista added a shot of espresso...and it still didn't taste like anything... Fuel is clearly kidding themselves if they think that their watery coffee can energize anything.

I had breakfast here this morning with my boyfriend. I ordered a bowl style breakfast burrito and he had his in corn tortillas. The flavor was good, not amazing, but the portion of the bowl seemed very small. Since I skipped the cheese (totally lactose intolerant) and the tortilla, I requested a little extra veggies . . . . I don't think this request was honored at all although they said the substitution was fine. The coffee and tea were very good. Aside from the super small portions size, out big issue with the place was the bulky plastic containers with the same sort of excess lid they put our food in. Really, it seemed like more container than food. Such a waste. I felt horrible about eating there b/c of it. It is really a cafe and not a restaurant so understand not using real dishes but it seems like the could down scale to at least some simple paper plates and tin foil it it needs to be covered for take out.

Pretty cozy, "coffee & bagel shop" style joint.

I was excited to see an espresso joint at the Snowmass base area. Sadly, the espresso pours were weak and the service was less than friendly.

25.25 for a quad shot latte a cappuccino and 2 breakfast burritos. Long wait for these as well. I am not sure why but all espresso drinks encountered in Snowmass were very weak...

OMFG best place to eat in all of Snowmass & Aspen!! Seriously! The only sad part was I wish I found this place at the beginning of the week of my vacation b/c we would have eaten here everyday for soo many reasons. So its seriously the best deal which prices for food are cheap...the coffee might be a little overpriced BUT well worth the price difference for some yummy food. I had the Mexican Mocha every time...its a spicy hot chocolate but not sure if it had coffee in it but it didn't matter b/c it was the perfect combo of sweet & spicy! I think they added habanero pepper to it which makes it soooo delicious! I also had the carne asada torta a few times...each time they made it a little different but ohhh soo good every time. I has yummy guacamole & red onions on top of the welll seasoned grilled beef. I also tried the spicy beef panini and a southwest breakfast burrito...both sooo goood! Yayyy for some great food. Its a tiny a little place w/about 4 chairs barside along the window and if you are lucky near close at 5:30pm you might sit next to the cutest lil girl who is some how related to someone who works there. Happy Fuel, happy ME!!

Awesome for breakfast burritos and reasonably priced. I like the southwester burrito the best. Great fast service as well. This place does tend to draw a crowd though.
